Stellaris subterranean origin - RPing as a dwarf megacorp currently. Subterranean may be my new favorite origin period. So much fun playing as a lithoid with that origin, and getting the event for digging deeper is always good fun. Imperial Fiefdom is cool just for the events that happen and the bonuses you get from being a vassal.

The only thing I'll say outside of spoilers is that, if you want to see this thing and fight it yourself, that path requires the Subterranean origin for your empire. You still get the +2 mining district feature, and the +8 max mining districts with +25% materials. Which isn't a massive 45% increase but is still a very nice material world..
